Hey, I’m lara

the DESIGNER behind birch & bud design co.

When I was a Travel Advisor, I figured out pretty quickly that my great service wasn’t going to be enough to stand out from everyone (& everything) else.

Potential clients didn’t know who I was, what I stood for or what made me different from every other advisor or an OTA. I needed a website that showcased what I specialized in and sent the people shopping on price somewhere else.

So I signed up for Squarespace, watched 1 million YouTube videos and designed and redesigned my first website more times than I’d like to admit — usually at 11 pm when my squirrel brain thought of something new.

When travel shut down in 2020 (IYKYK), I signed up for branding and web design courses. That evolved into Birch & Bud Design Co., where I now design Squarespace websites so you don’t have to spend all your free time figuring out how to add ‘web designer’ to your list of professions as a small biz owner.
